Welcome to "Animal of the Week" (1.5), brought to you by
Animal of the Week for the week of November 16 - 22, 2008 is the Bear. There are three subspecies of bears that are endangered: the Mexican Grizzly Bear, the Baluchistan Bear (found in Iran and Pakistan), and the Brown Bear. The Grizzly (brown) Bear is threatened in the continental United States, while American Black Bears and Louisiana Black Bears are threatened in Louisiana, Mississippi, and eastern Texas.
What is the relation of endangered animals to getting good grades?
A-Star Research Inc., publisher and distributor of "How to Get Good Grades In College," is a company of environmentally friendly people, who have a deep commitment to improving this world socially (such as by helping college students get good grades), and environmentally (such as by raising awareness of endangered animals).
In addition to protecting endangered animals, three other very important environmental concerns are recycling, the need to protect forests, and global climate change.
